A5 detachable blade reference

#40 A5 Clipper Blade

#40 is the shortest published Jizu A5 size at 0.25 mm (1/100 in). It belongs in a close-cut specification, not in the same purchasing category as the longer Finish Cut body-grooming blades.

Blade specification

The tooth category is standard. #40 has no F suffix; do not market it as Finish Cut or skip-tooth. Review its front photograph and request a sample if tooth geometry matters.

#40 product and mounting demonstration

Shown: the #40 stainless-steel moving-cutter configuration. Material grade and test results are not established by the video; specify them in the RFQ.

15-second product-handling excerpt. The machine shown is demonstration equipment, not a universal compatibility claim. Video stills retain the original platform watermark. There is no spoken audio.

Review the teeth, markings and mounting connection shown here. Cutter material, branding and packaging are specified separately in your quotation and approved sample.

Specify a controlled close-cut application

The supplied reference lists preoperative shaving and foot-pad work for #40. Treat these as professional application contexts, not instructions for home use. Veterinary preparation must be selected and supervised by the responsible veterinary professional.

  • Pre-operative shaving
  • Foot pads

Customer-provided selection reference

These catalogue references describe applications to review, not suitability for every dog of a named breed. A qualified groomer should assess coat and skin; veterinary preparation requires veterinary direction.

Compare nearby cut lengths

Compare nominal listed lengths, not a guarantee of the finished coat. Coat condition, preparation and handling affect the result.

Do not describe #40 simply as a shorter #10 replacement in a distributor catalogue. Its 0.25 mm listing is a different purchasing requirement from #10 at 1.5 mm (1/16 in). Ask the buyer whether close cutting is actually required before setting the assortment.

Confirm the clipper model before ordering

This is an A5 detachable blade, not a universal fit claim. Check the Compatible with model list, then include the exact model and a mounting photo in the RFQ. Blade size identifies cut length; it does not verify the machine.

Inspection evidence to request

For #40, agree how size marking, tooth edges, cutter alignment and nominated-clipper fit will be checked. Request the lot record and acceptance method instead of inferring close-cut suitability from ISO 9001.

Jizu states an IQC / IPQC / OQC workflow. No size-specific hardness, tolerance, temperature, service-life or batch pass-rate results are published. The checks below are proposed purchase requirements, not measured results.

#40 blade questions

Confirmed specification details and RFQ inputs for B2B buyers.

Is #40 the same cut length as #30?
No. #40 is listed at 0.25 mm (1/100 in), while #30 is 0.5 mm (1/50 in). The nominal metric difference is 0.25 mm; neither number guarantees the coat left under every operating condition.
Should I stock #40 as a general body-grooming blade?
Not on the basis of this reference. The supplied #40 uses concern close cutting, including veterinary preparation and foot-pad work. Start with the longer Finish Cut specifications when building a body-grooming assortment.
Does the #40 photograph prove the requested cutter material?
No. The #40 demonstration shows the stainless-steel moving-cutter configuration, not a material certificate. Specify stainless steel, carbon steel or ceramic explicitly, then approve a matching sample and specification before production.
